The functionalities
The TICHO APP, which allows for the personalisation of the visit experience based on the different needs of users, offers:
- Translation and cultural adaptation – Use of simplification, transcreation, and transnarrative strategies to make content understandable for international visitors.
- Accessibility for sensory disabilities through audio description for blind and visually impaired individuals and visual content with Italian sign language and/or subtitles for deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
- Visita Interattiva: Utilizzo di AR e VR per la creazione di un ecosistema culturale digitale funzionale a migliorare la fruizione dei beni culturali.
- Artificial Intelligence: Availability of an advanced conversational agent, capable of adapting the narrative according to the user's needs, providing real-time information and suggesting personalised insights.
- Educational fun: Designing a “Treasure Hunt” to discover the museum in an engaging and dynamic way.
The objectives
The main objective of the APP is to improve the accessibility and enjoyment of Italy's artistic and architectural heritage through the use of new technologies, with a focus on inclusion and sustainable digitalisation.
